I mentioned in my Blogmas day 3 post that Coaches Briles and Bennett finish the top 5 in Noelle’s list of Amazing Males, but my dad takes the cake for the first spot. My dad is one of the most well-known humans I’ve ever known. He somehow manages to become friends with almost everyone he meets by genuinely taking an interest in them. His friendliness and willingness to help anyone (whether or not he knows them doesn’t matter to him) has brought about some of the most incredible friendships that have impacted not only his life but also the lives of my whole family. It’s because my Dad took a leap of faith by attending Baylor in the 80s without visiting the campus or knowing much about the school that I’m at his alma mater following dreams of my own. He has passed down much knowledge, humor, musical talent, love for family and friends, and passion for football and we always have a fun time when we’re together. His love and unconditional support in all of my music and football endeavors means the world to me. I hope you have the best birthday Dad, and I can’t wait to see you in 11 days!
