I haven’t curated a wishlist in a minute (and my mom keeps asking me what I want), so I’m sharing my annual Birthday and Christmas gift guide full of high and low items. Now, hopefully my parents and sister have some ideas of what’s on my mind and in my online cart! I love a good party dress and the For Love & Lemons Ace Mini Dress is a gorgeous mixture of peach lace and teal sequins, which is the perfect 22nd birthday dress! I would style the dress with a braided half updo, blue-green heels, and thin gold hoops. Although I haven’t worn eyeshadow in a while, I can still appreciate a gorgeous palette and my new favorite is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Eyeshadow Palette. All of the shades featured can be easily blended for my favorite cool-toned smokey eyes. Aren’t these J.Crew Crisscross Buckle Strap Flats classic? They remind me of vintage drapes or gowns that older ladies used to wear with pearl necklaces. I would style the beautiful flats with a simple black dress and pearl studs. Another pair of shoes that I would love to add to my closet is the J.Crew Poppy Two-Strap Ballet Flats. My parents can’t stand leopard print, but I love how easily it matches every outfit! I see these shoes with denim overalls, a silk button down blouse, and a tweed coat in the daytime, and with a red satin cocktail dress for events. Speaking of classic items, nothing is more essential to a woman’s wardrobe in the winter than a cashmere sweater and the Halogen Funnel Neck Cashmere Sweater is a gorgeous staple at an affordable price. The sweater would pair perfectly with velvet pants and nude loafers. I’ve lusted after Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment since I first watched my beauty hero Lisa Eldridge discuss its benefits years ago. Since the summer time, my skin has seen the best days of its life and I know this skin treat could only improve my texture and hyperpigmentation. I’m always trying to study and learn more about the prison system, and the 1971 Attica Uprising was a major event that resulted in countless unnecessary inmate deaths. Blood in the Water by Heather Ann Thompson is a Pulitzer Prize winning book about the prison strike, that I can’t wait to get my hands on. Fashion mogul Nina Garcia once wrote about the importance of a one-of-a-kind charm bracelet and I’ve tried to recreate her jewelry must have since I was eight. I still haven’t found the perfect store to get beautiful and relevant charms that are still affordable, but I recently discovered Sweet & Spark’s mini collection of vintage pieces, including this football helmet one. Maybe I shouldn’t stick to only shopping at one jewelry store and instead, find charms I love in vintage shops and other collections! Sweet & Spark also has an adorable guitar, heart key, and a basketball, each from either the 60s or 70s! Last up is the most perfect Christmas or New Year’s outfit- the Gal Meets Glam Beatrix Dress. Coming from my favorite blogger’s dress collection, this rose gold sequin dress could be my first Gal Meets Glam purchase, which I would wear with pale pink heels and a curly updo for any upcoming holiday parties! Okay mom, have you found something yet?
