Blogmas Day 17: What’s in my Travel Makeup Bag?

Hi everyone! Today’s post is pretty exciting for me as I always like to plan ahead when traveling. I’m going to be traveling to Pasadena to perform in the annual Rose Bowl parade, which is extremely exciting for me! I’ve put together some of the beauty bits I will be taking with me to Pasadena so I thought that I would share them with all of you!

For the base, I’m bringing my beloved Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua for the day and Laura Mercier Silk Creme for more coverage. To conceal any blemishes or redness, I’m toting along my Maybelline 24 Hr Concealer, which lasts all day long without caking up. I’ll be setting all of that with my Rimmel Stay Matte or the beautiful limited edition Chanel Poudre Universelle from last year’s holiday collection for a bit of a glow. With the base sorted, I’ll be applying my favorite Chanel Joues Contraste in the shade Rose Petale for a flushed cheek look.

On to my favorite part; the eyes. I’ll be taking two of my all time favorite palettes, which are the Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Eye Palette and the Stila In the Light Palette for unlimited neutral looks. As a primer for everyday, I have my long lasting Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. On top of that for easy eye days, I’ll have my rich, pigmented L’Oreal Infallible Shadow in Bronzed Taupe. To top it all off, I have the Revlon Lash Potion for big, bold lashes that don’t clump.

Last but not least, I have a multitude of holiday lip products that I’ll be keeping in my purse. For a simple lip, I have the Maybelline Color Elixir in Caramel Infused along with the Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie. When I want an easy tinted lip balm, I’ll have my new Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue. For a fun, bold lip I have many different options. An easy everyday red lip is effortless when using the Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede lipstick in Finale. Another red option is my holy grail MAC Red lipstick that looks gorgeous for nights out. Lastly, I have my new favorite, which I didn’t think I would like at first. The Butter London Lippy in the shade Snog is a gorgeous fuchsia that looks great against my skin tone.
