This post isn’t going to be like my other recaps. I’m not going to rehash all that went wrong yesterday because the sports purpose of my blog isn’t to bring others down. Yesterday was filled with so much tribulation that our young men forgot their goal was to win the game. While we’ve dropped two in a row, I believe that we’re still strong enough to play at a high-caliber level. We’re so much better than what we exposed yesterday. We have to do better. The team will play Oklahoma in Norman next week and if they can truly band together and ignore the issues off the field, they have the strength to win. We’ll just see if they are able to execute. I know they’re better than this and I still have faith in the young men who inspire me every week.
