The softball team earned a No. 15 seed in the Waco regional tournament as they faced Kent St and No. 12 James Madison in preparation for the Women’s College World Series. The Lady Bears took down Kent St., 1-0, at Getterman Stadium on May 19 before dominating JMU on May 20 and 21, notching 4-2 and 1-0 victories, respectively. They advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals where they faced No. 5 Arizona in Tucson.
