Saturday’s Baylor Football loss to No. 4 TCU (read my short recap of the game here) was a sad ending to witness for many reasons, but mostly because the game was the Bears’ 2022 Senior Day. Prior to kickoff, Baylor Athletics honored 25 athletes listed from Juniors to super 6th years on the last home game of the season. The members of the Bears’ 2022 Senior class were coached by both former head coach Matt Rhule and now our philosophical giant Dave Aranda and they’ve seen both struggles and successes alike. For the oldest of the 2022 Senior group, the Baylor Football record has gone from 7-6 to 1-11 to 7-6 to 11-3 to 2-7 to 12-2 and now this season’s current 6-5 performance. Many of these athletes are some of the best in the green and gold and they’ll be more than missed next year!
