Last week Wednesday was like an early Christmas for those of us who love college football! The Early Signing Day period takes place every winter as high school senior football players can sign and submit their National Letter of Intent to their chosen college and become bound and official future athletes. Every year I write a post about the athletes Baylor signed on Early Signing Day (this is last year’s post) because I’m sure everyone here is just as excited about the future of Baylor Football as I am! Head coach Dave Aranda collected a nationally ranked No. 26 recruiting class last season in his second year at the helm and this year as a junior coach and despite a season full of struggles, he brought in a 27th-ranked 2023 group (according to Rivals) of elite new and transfer football players guaranteed to make their mark as they grow up on the team. The Bears’ 24 athletes may be new to Waco in the Fall, but they’re definitely experienced in the realm of football. Because Baylor is losing such crucial and phenomenal playmakers to graduation, these incoming 24 athletes are essential to the Bears’ future success!
