Baylor Baseball in NCAA Regional

The Baylor baseball team earned their first NCAA bid since 2012 as they were selected for the Houston Regional as a No. 2 seed. The team completed an accomplished season, notching a 34-21 overall record and 12-12 in Big 12 conference play. They opened the season with a 12-1 record in 13 games, including a successful 2-1 run in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic. The Bears finished the regular season on a 7-2 winning run but were eliminated from the Big 12 Tournament after losing consecutive games to No. 4 West Virginia and No. 1 Texas Tech. As a No. 2 seed, they will face No. 3 Texas A&M in Houston on June 2 at 2 p.m. (CT).
