Chubby sticks are a product that’s been on the makeup market for quite some time. Clinique started the trend with their original balm launch and the rest of the beauty world followed quickly behind. I’ve tried the likes of Clinique, Tarte, and the original Revlon ones. Recently, Revlon released their Lacquer balms and Matte balms as a different approach to the first colorburst balms in the collection. I picked up one of the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms ($8) in Sultry the other day and I bloomin’ love it. Sultry is a cool toned dark fig shade, which is almost a “my lips but better” color. Because it’s a matte lip color, it lasts on the lips for around 6-7 hours without fading or cracking. The range of colors is awesome and the price is right so I highly recommend these balms as a great alternative to the Clinique Chubby Sticks!
