A Sneak Peek of My Graduation Dress

My graduation dress

Today is my last day of undergraduate classes ever(!!!) and I’m halfway through my to-do list before graduation! Can you believe I only have two papers, three finals, and 15 days until I’m all pau with college? I still remember the day my parents dropped me off at band camp when I was a freshman and I instantly regretted my decision to go to school in Texas. Look how far we’ve come! With only two weeks left until I walk across the stage and receive my diploma, I successfully purchased my graduation dress! Last month, I blogged about the top four candidates for my graduation dress, but each option fell through before I found this gorgeous gem. Ironically, this dress is nothing like the piece I had imagined, but I love it nonetheless. The Gal Meets Glam Zoe Pleated Bow A-Line Dress (now on sale!) comes in a dusty rose shade and features a square neck with a large bow detail. The dress’ skirt is thick and heavy and the tapered waistline is universally flattering. I love how the color looks on my skin tone and the weight of the dress, which feels like the dress was handcrafted with quality. Although the pictured image of my graduation dress had sleeves and a low neckline, I love how this piece cinches tightly at the waist and hits right at my knee for a truly professional look. Did I mention the absolute best part of my graduation dress? IT HAS POCKETS!!! Yes, believe me, this beautiful dress has the greatest invention in clothing while also remaining feminine and fashionable. I love Julia (creator of Gal Meets Glam) and I want her to succeed at every venture, so I’m excited to wear this piece as my graduation dress with my favorite strappy pink bow heels from J.Crew, a fresh mani/pedi, and lots and lots of lei!
