Has anyone ever thought about what my face looks like this close? The answer is no. But unfortunately, the only way to accurately display my pop of pink look for eyes is by shooting a way too close image of my whole ass face. I stopped loving and being inspired by makeup a few years ago after I finalized my everyday beauty that left no room for experimentation and creativity. I was and have still be stuck in a natural makeup rut that looks pretty, but isn’t always fun to wear. Enter ‘Euphoria‘ aka the most beautiful beauty documentary aka a tv show to watch for the effed up shit the kids go through and for the outrageously delicious eye looks. I tried to show my mini inspiration in the form of this pop of pink eyeliner situation. I know it’s not as glamorous as Maddy’s rhinestone-crusted eyebrows or Jules’ Picasso color block shadows, but I wanted a fun look that is simple and adds a hint of pizazz to my usual boring makeup. Pink is my favorite color in all forms, so a pop of pink with a soft kohl liner seemed like the most wearable and relevant makeup for my Tuesday. I covered my eyelids in a wash of pastel pink shadow from the Bobbi Brown Crystal Drama palette and drew an extremely thin line at the top lashlines with my Rimmel Scandal Eyes Brow and Liner Kajal in Fierce Fuschia, which is the perfect shade for a pop of pink that matches all of my outfits and accessories. I obviously want to experiment more and actually test out more of the ‘Euphoria’ makeup looks like Jules’ cloud liner, Maddy’s pink and purple hazy eyes with rhinestones, and Rue’s glitter tears, but for now, I’m sticking with this subtle pop of pink for my every day beauty!
