A Blogging Break

If you’ve been a dedicated reader of This Is Noelle, you probably would have noticed the lack of posts for the past two days. It’s very unlike me to go a day without posting on this ‘ole blog of mine as I’ve posted nearly every day for the past 11 months. Throughout my time as a blogger I’ve loved writing and taking photographs for upcoming posts and planned them accordingly in a monthly planner. Seasonal posts got me excited for the different times in the year and I was always positive and happy about TIN. However, for the past few months I’ve been quite uninspired and overall lackluster about writing and posting. I’m not sure if it’s ‘blogging burnout’ or simple writer’s block, but I feel like I need to take a break from this online world of mine.

Beauty and Fashion Blogging is an extremely time-consuming hobby that consumes not only hours of my day but also the money out of my pocket as I feel the need to constantly purchase new products and clothing pieces to show all of you. What started out as a fun little side-activity has turned into a (hopeful) job opportunity for me one day and the pressure of posting every day and filming weekly videos has become a bit too much.

The college process, homework, school, band, and having a social life
take up most of my time and my blog has been thrust into the background
of my life in recent months. I always want to produce the best quality
content for you all to read and watch but I feel like my writing has
been quite lukewarm as of late. I think a much needed one-two week break
(or maybe until Thanksgiving) will hopefully give me the
inspiration I need to get back into my blogging/filming routine and will
refresh my content as well.

The feelings of doubt and the lack of self-confidence has also greatly impacted TIN. There are millions of blogs in the online world and only a few lead the blogging world in terms of celebrity and monetization. I know that becoming famous or making money off of my blog isn’t the purpose of why I write or film, but feeling like I’m not successful or that there’s no reason to write if no one is reading is quite impactful on me. I put loads of time and money into my blog and YouTube channel and sometimes I feel like it makes no sense to write or film if it’s just a teeny tiny part of the online world that no one is seeing.

I know that there are some of you out there that have been dedicated readers to TIN and for that, I want to thank you. This isn’t goodbye (not by a long shot), but a simple see you soon as I should be back within a few weeks. There are a lot of things that I need to work on and plan for the betterment of TIN and I just need a bit of a break in order to write and film to the best of my ability. Thank you so much for all of your support the past two years and I will definitely be back with some amazing content in a few weeks!
