I wanted to do a 4th of July inspired makeup post today so here it is! (Please pardon the horrible picture quality!)
The Base
I used my NARS Sheer Glow foundation in Punjab and buffed it into my skin using my Sephora Mineral Powder brush to receive a flawless and glowing base. I then added my Revlon Colorstay concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes to ensure that my skin looks like it is in tip top shape!
The Eyes
Because I knew that I wasn’t going to be wearing a lot of shimmery shadow that would fall down, I did my eyes after my foundation. I put my Benefit Cream Shadow in Bikini-Tini all over my lid, then added a medium brown shadow from my Sephora palette in my crease. I smudged a bit of the Maybelline Master Smoky Pencil on my top lashline, and then some of the brown crease color along my bottom lashline. I added a bit of the Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara on my lashes for a natural and fluttery look.
The Cheeks
Using a fluffy powder brush, I swept my new Revlon Matte Blush in Blushing Berry on the apples of my cheeks to achieve an effortless and subtle flush.
The Lips
For the main attraction, I put on some of my EOS lip balm in Summer Fruit to hydrate and moisturize my lips before adding the red. I then applied my Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Mightiest Maraschino all over my lips.
Here’s my final 4th of July inspired makeup look! What are your plans for Independence day?
