This year has gone by so fast! I can’t believe 2012 is already almost over. Since New Year’s eve is tomorrow, I wanted to share some of my favorite things from 2012!

If you’ve never seen or heard of Les Mis before, then you need to go on YouTube and look it up immediately. Here’s a link to one of my favorite songs from the play called “One Day More”. Les Mis recently was made into a movie, which came out on Christmas day. I went to see it with my family and the theater was packed! The movie was extremely well done, and should definitely be in the running for an Academy Award.
Clarisonic Mia 2
The Clarisonic has become a cult favorite ever since the original launch. The company claims that the sonic cleansing brush cleans your face 6 times better than hands alone. Who doesn’t want their face to be as clean as possible? The Clarisonic Mia 2 was a gift for my birthday, since I have been coveting the product for around a year. I was ecstatic to receive it, and even more excited to see the difference in my skin’s texture and appearance. You can purchase the Clarisonic Mia 2 at Macy’s and Sephora. Here is a link to where you can purchase the Clarisonic Mia 2.
Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Broadest Berry
I’ve never tried any of Clinique’s skincare or makeup before, but when Mrs. Lisa Eldridge included this lipstain in one of her videos, I knew I had to buy it. The color is a deep berry, which is right between a tinted lip balm and a lipstick. It’s extremely moisturizing, but with good color payoff. You can buy the Chubby Stick here for only $16!
Lisa Eldridge is an extremely talented makeup artist who works with popular celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Keira Knightly, and Kate Winslet. I’ve included a video of just one incredible look Lisa has created. She was named the Creative Director for Boots No7 in 2003, and also creates looks for Chanel, showcasing how to apply and perfect their makeup lines. Even though Lisa is a successful and famous makeup artist, she still has a YouTube channel teaching women all over the world how to perfect their makeup and celebrate their natural beauty. Lisa has inspired me to become a makeup artist someday, and I hope that I will one day be able to work alongside her.
Well that’s it! Those are my absolute favorites from 2012. I hope that you all try out these products, watch Les Miserables, and learn from Lisa Eldridge’s videos. Have a wonderful day and a blessed Happy New Year!
