170 years ago, the greatest school in the world (no bias at all) was chartered in the Republic of Texas by an Act of Congress. Judge R.E.B. Baylor presented a proposal to the Union Baptist Association for what would become Baylor University. The founding fathers of Baylor were “pioneers who came to Texas, which they saw as a ‘new Promised
Land,’ to minister and share Christ to the residents of the growing
Republic.” Luckily enough, the school was established and students all over the world are now able to attend this majestic school in Waco, Texas. Happy Birthday Baylor! I’m so excited to call you my home.
